Our Wand Information
Down thru the centuries, wands were used to denote authority, rank and/or power. The instruments have been called by different names, depending on the size, shape and how the user wished to refer to them; staffs, scepters, wands, etc. Magicians, Merlin the Wizard, Kings, Queens, all sorts of royalty and, yes, even the "bad guys' used them in their quest and retention of power. We prefer to call them "wands", be they used for "magic", or "healing", or" cloud busting" or anything in between.
You can visit retail stores or various web sites and you'll find fancy, glittery and shiny wands for sale. On average, they range in size from 4" up to perhaps 18" in length. They usually have some sort of liquid metal molded onto a glass or plastic shaft. Each wand seems to be designed for just one particular purpose, be it for a single charka location, or to bring you "love", or "health" or what ever. Buying several of these "models" for your different needs could get rather expensive! ! ! ! Having said that, if the above mentioned wands are what you are looking for, then it would be a waste of your time to venture any further into this web site and thank you for stopping by.
As you can see by the enclosed photos and description, our wands " are not for the faint-of-heart!" A wand should be an instrument designed with, basically, no restrictions, with the user dictating how and in what areas it should be used, in any given situation. After all, you have used one before, or you wouldn't have one now or be in the process of ordering one.
Many times in a month, in our store, a customer would ask, "Where did you come up with the design for these wands?" If I were some kind of a "foo-foo", I would tell you that "it came from God (or some other life form), and was a divine inspiration!" Truth be told in the matter, on the night of March 31, 1993, I had a dream that told me that I should make them (you must consider that the next day was April Fool's Day!). No details were given other than the very basic design. However, I was told that I/we would have "help along the way". Very cryptic, right?! The only help that we figure that we got and are getting, is from our Spirit Guides and Betty's psychic input.
At that time we owned a crystal store ("Sedona Crystal Mine '), in Sedona, Arizona. Betty, my wife, was not overly enthusiastic about the cost and time involved in making them, but being a practicing psychic, she instinctively knew it was something that I "had" to do. So, as the old saying goes, "If can't beat `em, join 'em!", which she did and I still thank what ever powers that be for having her do so.
At this point in time, we have only four different "models"; "Master Wand", measuring approx. 5 feet in length $495.00-- "Wizard's Wand", 4 feet long $445.00-- "Life Wand", approx. 3' long $395.00-- also a slimmer version of the "Life Wand", the same 3 ' length, that we call "The Goddess Wand" $345.00. All the wands have a copper pipe for a shaft, which is filled with earth from the Sedona vortex area, and at least 20 quartz crystals of varying sizes. On one end is either a sphere, usually crystal or an egg shaped mineral. On the other "business end" is a crystal point (a Vogel crystal if available at the time). The shaft is then covered with leather and fur of some kind and in different colors. We then decorate the out side with a selection of rocks, minerals and feathers.
Ah! But we aren't done yet. To keep your wand protected from the elements and unwanted handling, each is put into it's own hand made carrying case, which is cedar lined. Each case has at least 40 screws (and glue), holding it together for strength. It is then stained, sealed and at least 2 or 3 coats of varathane. The screws, handle, hinges and clasps are either brass or brass plated.
No two wands are exactly alike. Within reason, both the wands and case can be custom made to your order. For instance, the wand can be made with a certain color of wrapping (availability), stones of your choice, providing we have them. The case can have your name burned into it (up to 10 letters), and/or designs (remember, I'm no artist!!), like astrological, Egyptian, flowers, etc. We no longer have our store, and live in the middle of "no-where", so unless we can track down certain stones, or can go to shows in either Denver or Tucson, we are limited in stone selection. We will give it our best shot, tho, and will tell you so when you place your order.
Are they powerful? In our store we had an alcove where the wands were on display. Some customers would start to turn into that area, but would veer away, saying the energy was to strong, while others would just stand there and absorb the energy (no charge for that). People would invariably ask "How do you use them?" I would answer "In my dream, I was told that anyone who bought one would have a knowingness about how to use them as they had used them "before".
Is one of these wands right for you? Have you used one before? We can't tell you that. But as you read this, you either have that "knowingness", or you don't. It's as simple as that!! We are not being evasive; there's just no other way to put it. Now Betty can tell you how she uses hers, but that may not be your way.
Who buys our wands? A super neat couple from Indiana bought 4 of the Master Wands a few years ago. Now that must have raised hell with their fuse box!! Another lady was taking hers along to go swimming in the ocean with the dolphins. Another group bought one for each of them.
If you want a special order, it may take a little longer to make, but not much, all things being equal. Don't know what stones to put on the inside or outside? You could ask Betty; as I said before, she is a practicing psychic (semi-retired). Since they are all hand made, it's really no problem to make alterations, as long as we have what you want and/or can do it or get it!!
A little added note; shipping of the wands is FREE!! If you live in Alaska, Hawaii or any where else outside the continental USA, we will pay the shipping to, say New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, etc. Then you pay the balance to your destination. Most of the time it will go by air. Costs more, but the package is only handled once or twice, instead of several times by land; less chance of damage. We can go over all that when you call us. Where we live, we are on solar, wind and batteries, so our phone is on from about 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M, MST. But you can leave a message and we WILL CALL YOU BACK!!!
Depending on the weather and material, it takes any where from 3 to 7 days to make a wand and a case. In the fall, winter and early spring, because the air is more humid, it takes longer for the glue and paints to dry.
We look forward to hearing from you and to creating something that you will use and cherish for the rest of your life, and perhaps even hand down to someone else when the time comes.
Love and Light, Betty and Wayne B. Greene, Kingman, Arizona, USA
P.S. The various wand pictures that are shown may or may not be available at particular time/date. You are under no obligation when calling for information. Just easier to explain on the phone.
