30 years
ago I couldn't even spell metaphysician, now I are one.!
We were taught early on not to take ourselves or metaphysical things to
seriously. When I look back over the first
couple of years of "enlightenment", I have to laugh about some of our
experiences and I also get a little embarrassed about some of the things that I
said to other people and even thought. But in order to learn, we have to
make mistakes. Using that formula, then I must have learned a lot and didn't
realize it.
We
both realize that there are a lot of you out there that are struggling along,
trying to get answers, especially if you live in a situation where you are the
only one in a household that "knows" there is a "better
way," but don't know where to look for the answers. Then there are those of you who are even worse off,
that live in an area that does not tolerate "different
thinking", because you don't have anyone to share with.
This is where the interne
comes in. If nothing else, you can always give us a call or email us. There
are probably dozens of web sites and chat rooms. We've never delved into either
because we have had no need. However, there is
one site that we recommend to anyone and that is of our mentor.
Just put in "Dick Sutphen" and you are there.
And who is Dick Sutphen (Sut-fm)?
He is the most renowned past-life hypnotist around.
He conducts seminars all over the world.
There will sometimes be over 200 people attending one
of his seminars, especially in Sedona. It's a place to start.
Don't
be swayed
by people who claim to "know it all". Listen to them; hear what they
have to say.
Then consider what they've said (you might get just one gem of fact; remember, even a broken clock
is right
twice a day!). You have a knowingness inside of you.
You may not
know why, but your gut feeling is that what they're saying either is or isn't right for you. You
need to see
both sides of a coin before you know which side is heads or tails. Groups are a
different story. They have a way of making you feel like an outsider if you have
different views of things than they do. It boils down to what you feel will
work for you,
even for the
time being. If your life style isn't working for you, then you are doing something
"wrong" or not doing something "right". Actually, there
is no right or
wrong, it's
just easier to explain this way.
Soul searching is good! The only thing is, if you fmd something while you are searching, you need something to
compare it to. In other words, if you're out hiking and you fmd
a vain of gold, you don't know it's gold unless you've
seen gold before. That's when you need to ask someone "What is
this?", and hope that they know. With a lot of people, if they don't know,
they don't want to admit it and will tell you most anything. You may not know that it's gold,
but you're pretty sure that it's not what they say it is. We've been at
this for about 3 decades. We've seen, heard, and experienced a lot of things.
We don't pretend to have all the answers. How-some-ever, if we don't know,
we'll certainly say so. We'll also attempt to fmd out
for you.
With organized religion, they
have their "book" that they claim has all the answers between the two covers. In
the metaphysical realm, it's not nearly that simple. We've been at it for a
long time and yet we learn something new almost every day. It's usually not something of earth-shattering proportions,
just a little tid-bit to tuck away in a little cubicle
for future reference. The whole thing is a never ending learning process. It's
nice to be able to say "I'm a little wiser today than I was
yesterday!"
