Recommended Search Engine Ranking Companies
Currently there are an estimated 55 billion web pages on the Internet. And there are several hundred search engines, directories and free listing services that are attempting to catalog them.
But there are less than a dozen search engines that really count:
As of March 2006, the
Nielson Search Engine ratings system shows search engine shares: Google share 49%
Yahoo share 22%
MSN share 11%
For a total share of 82% of all searches
That only leaves 18% of world Internet searches to divide not only among the remaining 8 top search engines, but ALL of the remaining search engines, directories and free services.
That boils down to 82% of all people searching the Internet are searching through those 55 billion webpages for their needs using Google, Yahoo and MSN. So much for statistics . . .
Now for reality, the average searcher never looks past the first and second pages, maybe occasionally the third page of search engines such as Google. Google lists 10 regular websites (plus paid sponsored inclusion sites) per page. Thus the coveted "Top 10" rankings, only on the first page.
Our problem at hand is to rank your new website with enough "Top 10" listings to insure you have a fair shot at making your Internet business successful. First you must be selling a quality product that is actually in consumer demand. Then it must be priced competitively. Then the same as a "downtown" store, all you need is traffic.
It must also be acknowledged that depending upon conditions, one can still optimize their website for the search engines, do their own submissions and rank well with a number of top search engines. The "conditions" are the tricky part . . . After reading a little more just below you will learn the conditions are mostly how competitive is your products? Highly competitive, with out great expertise, forget it. Very uncompetitive, you stand a good chance, This is what is known as a small "niche" market, there are buyers but relatively speaking, not very many. This usually also means that again relatively speaking, not many sellers are vying for the business.
If this scenario happens to fit you and you either already have the expertise or you want to learn, it is a worth while venture. Get all the "How to? information you need here.
Like the downtown store your website store must be advertised , in every way you can think of, while bearing in mind that no matter what you do, an estimated 85% of all web sites are found through the search engines. The reverse of that is if you are not well ranked with around 25 "Top 10" listings with the Top Search Engines", your visions of enough "buying customers" to provide you with a fair ROI (Return On Investment) will probably always be on the elusive horizon of infinity. That's using a lot of words to simply say "you are not going to make any money".
So how do you become well ranked as we just discussed? The simple fact, it is very difficult. A few years ago any knowledgeable website developer could achieve good rankings in anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months. It goes without saying that billions of websites are a lot of competition . . . so "successful website ranking" that only a short time ago was common place, has become a very specialized and technical field of it's own.
The search engines are also competing with each other, each trying to design new secret algorythyms and many other highly technical methods of beating out their competition. Case at point, not long ago there was no Google and every one was "Yahooing" Now Google is number one and Yahoo a distant second. And Microsoft's MSN is big enough to wipe out both, but thus far they are not smart enough.
So those Internet Ranking companies that are honestly serious enough to research the search engine methods and develop their own successful private ranking systems that really work are also leaving their own competitors behind.
Search Google for the term "top 10 search engine ranking" and you will find about 51,000,000 listings.
Use the phrase "guaranteed top 10 search engine ranking" and you will still find about 4,790,000 listings.
You certainly should not say that the bulk of those companies included in all those listings are scammers. But is a fact that few can and will do what they say or "guarantee". So the "benefit of the doubt" perspective insists that most are inexperienced and not up with modern technology, and have no idea what they are up against, and have no clue that they are in such a specialized and highly technical business. You will find asking prices for such services ranging from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars.
One of the older and occasionally successful methods is known as PPC (Pay Per Click) and also must be managed in a very informed manner or expense with no sales can very quickly get out of hand. The two most popular PPC systems are Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing
Currently, after a few years of personal research it is found that certain search engine ranking companies are emerging with almost magical methods of achieving top rankings. For details, suggestions and reccomendations please visit Recommended Search Engine Ranking Company
